Hi, I'm April, an animal lover, wife, mom and stepmom to 2 humans and my rescue dog Ellie. My photography passion started 6 years ago when I had to say goodbye to my dog Marley. All I wanted to do was take her to her favorite places and take as many photos of her as I could with my phone. At the time I had no idea professional dog photography even existed. After we said goodbye to Marley, my photography interest peaked and I invested in my first professional camera. Soon after, we became a foster failure to Ellie (inset photo), and she became my practice subject.

Dogs are our best friends. They are our family. No matter how long we have with them, it's never long enough. My hope as your photographer is to capture your special bond and create memories you will always want to remember of your loved ones.
